The picturesque route passes through miles of unspoilt countryside making it a haven for flora and fauna plus a popular destination for boating, walking, cycling and fishing enthusiasts.
Kennet and Avon canal boating holiday's offer you the opportunity to travel across the stunning two hundred year old aqueducts at Avoncliff and Dundas or negotiate the twenty nine locks at Caen Hill, located close to the Wiltshire town of Devizes.
You will have easy access to the historic city of Bristol or the beautiful town of Bath with it's Roman Spa's and five hundred year old Abbey.
Why not moor alongside a waterside restaurant and sample the local produce, or take a stroll along the towpath to discover attractive market towns, picture postcard villages and places of interest. There is no set criteria which means your boating break can be as relaxed or as busy as you want it to be.
